Vitto was an incredible guitar player. Very melodic and his tone was amazing. [img]/images/graemlins/notworthy.gif[/img]

I don't have the Skolnick ad, but I do have a couple of others from 89 and 90 Guitarworld mags. Vitto is pictured in one with a who's who of players. The mag also has a cool ad with Phil Collen holding a white OPC with a Floyd and another one in white pictured below him with a Kahler.

the only thing cool that came out of "Grunge"...IMO...is AIC and Soundgarden...

No one generatin can police itself, it seems every generation of music goes threw this, we saw the same thing with grunge, you had some good bands and then many wanna be's, same with rap/metal and then pop punk and now with regular rock garage bands. With every sytle there are good bands and then the followers till the scene gets burned out. By the way i liked warrent and thought they were one of the better bands of that time, and who could forget cherry pie!

Vitto Bratta had a wrist injury due to his pursuit of studying jazz. He was playing/studying jazz(or was it classical) for almost 16 hours straight and suffered an injury as a result.

Doctors told him that surgery was the ONLY option so he quit guitar as a result.

I remember reading this in a "Where are they now" column in Guitar World (or Guitar One) magazine about a year ago.

Man...music nowadays suck

MOST underground eventually ends up mainstream unfortunally which ends up killing it. I dont think all main stream sucks, i just hate when you get so many "fake" bands that are not being original.

Funny..Most undeground bands I know NEVER go mainstream..

Not even Cradle or Dimmu...I really can't call that mainstream...

even though you may find thier T shirts in a mall...most haven't a clue who they are..and get NO media support whatsoever..

so ...who are these "underground" bands that you speak...because I don't know a single one.. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]
