I heard those tapes when they were up before.
They sounded EXACTLY like Roth Van Halen if they had played sober. I have also heard The
Atomic Punks and they are pretty good, but Virtual Halen nailed the stuff closer from what I heard.

Bill, I heard those MP3's when they were posted and though good, were not in the same league as the Atomic Punks. Their singer absolutely nails Roth right down to all the little vocal fills he does in those old songs. The Atomic Punk demos that I heard featured Russ Parrish on guitar and the guy in your band was no Russ Parrish. He played Eddie to a "T"... tone, style, everything.

Russ Parrish is only the third Atomic Punks guitarist. Bart Walsh and Brian Young (?) came before him and were both better. Having seen them live I'd have to disagree with you, though they were very entertaining.

I didn't say shit. I rolled my eyes. I'd like to hear these Mp3's. I consider myself a expert. I'm always less than 2 degrees of seperation when it comes down to the VH Camp. Pretty damn good, I've got the same tunes by Vanhalen with them playimg at the whiskey that absolutely sucks in comparision.

I heard The Atomic Punks...they are good BUT not as good as us...I give them a 7 and us a 10.

Unfortunately there is no more Us....everybody died basically..or may as well have....we don't keep in touch anymore..

but we were masters at each of our own crafts....which made us very special.

and Rick sang better live than Dave ever did...and Tony he played the stuff live like Ed plays on the record....sound and all..and my Drummer was Alex Van Halen...stripped , huge kit and all..he was a double kickin' , groovin' bastard.
