    Dimes CFH pup tone?

    i want buy a 500XL so which of these two offer the 500XL that has the CFH tone?
    I know there is a lot of controversy but does anyone here own one of each and have compared them to one another?
    If it's not a CHARVEL then i dont want to play it,look at it or even fuckin THINK about it!

            I asked Bill Lawrence about doing that, and he told me it didn't make one bit of difference in the sound...... [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

              I read an interview once where Jimi's (yeah, THAT Jimi) guitar tech would bring Jimi 5 or 6 different wah pedals when his started acting-up...Once he ran out of pedals to give him, he would recyle back through the ones he had just dismissed...Inevitably, he would hear one (for at least the second time) and say "Yeah, that's what I'm talking about...This is the one"

              I guess that if you perceive a difference, it may just be enough to subconsciously give you an "edge" and having your "own" tone is for sure one of those things...
