The "Weird Drawing is for the different Patent for the "Table" that he had on his guitars during the 1984 tour, he played like that during the solo, The first ones were made out of wood, then he made a locking Plexiglass version. Suprised that Scott at Vanhalenguitars.com dosen't have one of those.

Look again, there is a fine tuner on the drop portion, but yes, it is not connected to the bridge. That is the primary reason that I hate the things, they're like a big eyesore on the top of your guitar.

WTF is on the back side of the guitar on the pick of him playing??? that looks like a shark fin sticking out of the body!!!!

Has this bridge been produce? are there pics of it in an actual guitar??...

I think that if you put the d-tuner on ALL the string it would be cooler!!! THEN you can have a lot of tunin changes.

I remember the table. My brother's friend's father was the patent attorney that worked with him on that.
