Zakk Wylde CD recommendations?

Being relatively new to the metal genre (I've been playing classic rock, R & B, and blues for the last 20 years) - what Zakk CD's do you guys recommend I purchase?

I picked up Mafia a few months ago and I think it's pretty good.

If your just getting into BLS, go for Mafia first. Sonic Brew will also rip your face off........ [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

I have most of his CD's. They are all really good but I would definately recommend:

1919 Eternal (my favorite)
Sonic Brew
Blessed Hellride

Well there's a lot to choose from!

Personally, I think that his all-round best album is Ozzy's No More Tears.

Zakk's Book of Shadows is a really great record. It's acoustic and softer material and different than his usual style (though all his albums have a few ballads here and there).

There's not a lot of difference between BLS's Sonic Brew, Stronger Than Death, 1919/Eternal, Blessed Hellride and Mafia, imo. If you like one you'll like them all. Everyone seems to have their own favourite!

If you took the best songs from each album you'd have an amazing record (though you can say that about most bands really!). If I was being really picky I'd say each album has a bit too much filler.

Don't forget BLS Hangover Music Vol 6. I really like it, not everyone does. It's also softer than other BLS albums but it stil packs a punch.

Pride and Glory is great too. Sabbath meets Skynyrd. Top quality.

No rest for the Wicked - Ozzy Osbourne. His playing is great on that album

It's all good but my faves are 1919 Eternal, Book of Shadows, Sonic Brew, and Hangover Music Vol. 6, in that order. I really like Ozzmosis too.

I would recommend Book of Shadows - great songs...very dark. If you want your skull crushed, try Sonic Brew. As far as te Ozzy stuff, No More Tears gets my vote.
I met Zakk a few years back - he was very cool. He played an acoustic set at a small club and it was amazing.
