Todd, You have to understand, horns and i have kinda come to a understanding, we both know we have different opinions, i dont let his piss me off anymore and i dont believe mine piss him off anymore, he knows i know good tone and how to play!

Horns in a way you do what you do to piss people off, yeah you are speaking your mind and being truthfull, however as the old saying goes, if you dont have something nice to say dont say it all. You however do say it because you know you will get a rise out of people! As for me, i do not feel the need to put down everything i dont like, i dont need to prove i am a tough guy or a bad ass, if i dont like something i keep my mouth shut out of respect for someone that does like it. I believe in letting my actions speak louder then my words, and when it comes time to get dirty i dont think you really want to mess with me, ask noodles i am not small guy and i will tell you straight out i grew up on the streets and lived and learned and got the scars to prove it (been shot once, stabbed twice and beaten into a coma once)!

Anyway back to the happy program, I love the hair bands, it was a time in music that was so free, so fun, so much about being idiotic and just living to get laid, get high and get drunk!

one of the funniest things i ever saw at a concert was cc tripping over his own cable and un-plugging his guitar in the middle of the solo to talk dirty to me. Yeah the streets were my domain, i got put in a coma from a gang of thugs, i cant help it, no matter how good of a fighter you are when there are ten to twenty of them and they are coming from every direction there is nothing you can do to save yourself!

Your right, size does not matter, however it does help! You put two equal fighters up against each other the bigger guy will usually win. As to knocking my teeth out, i hope you and i never get in the situation, who knows what would happen, but i tell you it usualy takes a tribe to take me down or hurt me, so lets just hope we never get in that situation, although it could be interesting [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

As to shooting, getting shot was not a high point of my life, however, my biggest grip for today is kids on the street that do not know how to fight man to man, they need to jump you or pull out a gun. Nothing manly about shooting someone, just shows you were too much of a pussy that you couldnt beat them in a fair fight.

Your right though, no need to get in a pissing match anymore, i usualy make my point, respond but at the same time just try to respect the other persons opinion. Anyway i am signing off on this topic, well this part of it anyway, still will talk about the glam metal part.

I started gigging in the late 70's, opened for Twisted Sister and Zebra for an entire year in the early 80's and never stopped trying to make it until 1988. I lived the live too. To the max bro's. I did it all, saw it all. When you young guys see a VH-1 behind the music showcasing an 80's metal band you are seeing real shit. There were 2 types of metal bands back then. Devil,magic,wizards kill pissed off type metal (I love that shit) and the party,banging chicks, singing about girls, happy type shit (I love that too). Its all good. I'll defend any 80's band that kicked ass on records,tours or live. Poison ruled back then. Truth. They were as big as Bonjovi and G&R and much bigger than Metallica, Dokken, Maiden, Priest, The Scorpions etc.. ever were. Poison also had staying power. There were alot of 1 hit metal wonders back then.
Spandex, Aquanet, groupies, bandanas and everything else was the norm. I was 5'8" weighed 126lbs, had hair down to my ass, wore eye liner and other types of makeup, spandex,net shirts, a feather or razor blade earing, I was pale because it looked better under the lights, and I got laid every minute of the day. Here is how good the 80's metal scene was if you were a guy on stage dressed like a chick in a metal band. In 1 summer..from July 1st thru August 31st. while we were opening for Twisted Sister and getting boo'd the entire time by the crazy TS fans, I banged 50 different girls. We only had and average of 2 shows per night. You do the math. I would pick out the hottest chicks in the crowd and flick picks at them or sing to them or just look at them. Done. Dinner and a movie??? Nope. Sweet talking??? Nope.
Imagine playing the music you love with a bunch of bands who for the most part were all at the top of their game, where it seemed that every guitarist was either Lynch or Demartini in regards to chops. Imagine a time when musicians and bands actually PRACTICED. My band rehearsed 5 nights per week for 4 hours per night. Between that I would practice modes and scales to a metronome until my fingers bled. Then I would take out the crazy glue and fix them. Imagine a time when you had to be Fuggin awesome to get a gig on a Friday or Saturday night. That was the 80's bro. I love the 80's...

Yes they were a great time, unless you lived it you could never know how great it was. Kids these days can only imagine that feeling, ever since the 80's the music scene has never been the same in my opinion! But i guess every kid says about that in the hay day of there youth.
