Just thought I'd let EVERYBODY know that people tell me that I sound like Dime, Paul Gilbert, Yngwie, EVH, Rhoads, etc... all the time. Just depends what kind of mood I'm in at the time. I'll admit that all the bravado you spew can be mildly amusing at times, but must you always make every thread about YOU? Nobody cares about how YOU play, the tread was about an old dime solo. Can't you just comment on the solo and leave it at that? You must be one attention starved individual in real life to constantly seek it out on internet message boards.
For what it's worth, that tune was cool, and the playing was good. But to put yourself in the same league as Darrell, or Steve Harris, or Van Halen is ridiculous. If you were, you wouldn't be spending your time ranting about yourself on internet message boards... you'd actually be doing something noteworthy in the music business.

Jealous? Of what?
As for Dime, yes, he was a great player. I've been a fan since CFH. As a matter of fact, I saw Pantera in '92 in Hollywood with Trouble it was a great show. His loss is a huge tragedy to the metal community.
Now, I've been around enough to know that talent doesn't always equal success... there is alot more involved. I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you, but I think I've made my point. I wouldn't want to hijack this thread any more than it has been...Comment
