I listen to live365 a lot but didn't know about this station - thanks! They just played some 8 1/2 minute boring-ass song w/Sammy, any idea what it is?

No, I don't...sorry.

They don't update the rotation that often...so I listen to it for a while and then I move on. I usually click over to something else when I hear a Sammy or Gary song.

I always Respect Ed for what he has done. I respect musicians for the music they do not for their personal shit. I agree Ed is fucked up but we can't forget what he has done.
DLR is the shit, VH was a 100% party rock'n'roll band, Dave suits 100% for that stuff. No need for a vocal-god because DLR has a very cool whacky voice and his use of words is supreme. He (and KISS) is the the dude who made rock'n'roll=party and chicks. He is funny as hell and not to mention the best frontman EVER period. But I also like Sammy, very unique voice. DLR era VH songs are catchy, cool, funny etc. Van-Hagar was a band with great song arrangements, everything was very thought-out production wise. Classic VH was just some random goofy-funny-shit.
I like them both a lot but DLR era VH was the greatest rock band ever IMO.
VH reunion I dunno, wich one happens first, VH, Extreme or Coverdale/Sykes reunion.

EVH is a typical addict.He pushes everyone who cares away and thinks hes invincable. He doesnt want a "producer" he'll do it himself.no "engineer" he'l do that too.No wife no fans no lifelong friends.(Mike Anthony Dave Sam etc).When he hits rock bottom he'll get help. Addicts usually do when they hit the bottom.Right now he's 10 ft tall and bullet proof. I read an interview in a guitar mag where he feels he is invincable. He said he beat cancer ,survived a divorce etc bla bla. typical addict behaviour ..Just be patient he'll crash and burn.Then the good music will follow.
