yeah both of the unearth albums are really awesome. the production on stings of conscience is pretty bad, but the album is good and im not going to complain about adam d's producing. he gets the guitars to have so much balls to em in his mixes...the drums though...they almost sound like samples to my ears...they sort of lose that live feel like each bands previous albums had.

speaking of which, does anyone know if the Washburn Face Erasers are even on the market yet?? i haven't seen one, yet they've been advertised for quite a while now. Boogie St. had one of the prototypes on the bay for an ungodly price a while back, but thats all i've seen.

Well I just listened to a couple clips from All That Remains' album, This Darkened Heart. The vocals are not clean at all, they sound pretty cookie monster to me. Didn't care for it.

If you like the production on War Within...check out Hell Within "Predator Of The Human Asylum"...that was done by Zuess also. And yes Jeri...agree, Unearth's the Oncoming Storm is sadly underrated! All That Remains is killer also!

I saw a gear setup and read the interview.
The guitarist says he uses his Marshall with clean CH setting and add all the gain by his multi effect pedal.

The Face Erasers are on the market, but they arent easy to get. The Washburn USA shop is very small. I thought they were much bigger, but no, they are small. Some models they have are backordered to 2006 and 2007................

Reading this is funny. They are cool and the guitarists can play, but lets all remember that there were 1000s of bands just like that back in the late 80s playing the EXACT same music. Metal just died after that. This style of deathmatel always had bad vocals. Par for the course.
