When I talked to him he said he uses 5150 for rhythms and a Mashall (don't think he said which) for leads. That's his live setup anyway, in the studio I think it says on the site he uses a Triaxis. That would be the most badass thing if Caparison came out with a 7 string. Does it show their gear/guitars on the DVD?
[/ QUOTE ]Yes, it would be cool if Caparison did a 7-string. Not sure if they're doing it just for them or if it will be offered to the general public as well. And, yes, it does show their gear, a bunch of Caparisons, an Ibanez 7, 5150 with the TubeScreamer and NS2 pedals, wireless and TC Electronics stuff. I can't remember what else offhand. They even show the drummer and bass player's rigs, too.

I asked the US Caparison Dealer about the 7 strings since I saw a pic of one at the NAMM show - no plans for a production model when I spoke to him back in Feb or March...

Really? That sucks, when the dude from Nocturnal Rites got his 7 string on his site he said it was his signature model. It was a great lookin one too, thought it would be a production thing.
Well the one I just posted is old, at least a by a few months. Had to dig that up from the old news sections. The other guitarist has more recently been endoresed by em, but I think he's just using a standard production model, not too sure though. Hell, I don't follow that band too much, I know jack bout em, but they've got some cool guitars.

yup..they show you EVERYTHING. The best is the sound guy/mixing who shows you how they made The inner circle.
"We actually borrowed this drumset from Hammerfall, and ummmm, you see we used 4 bass drums, but he only has 2 legs..so we actually had 2 guys, 2 chinese guys kneel down like this, and bang on these 2 other drums. It took a while to get them together...with the chinese guys. but in the end, it sounds great."
That is Arnold - he is a trip !
And he is a machine during soundcheck/backline> Very quick and professional, but funny and warped as hell at the same time
Hell ya I have everything from these guys except the DVD they realeased this year. They're a huge influince on my playing right now also NeverMore. I'm going to Gigantour So I can finally see them in concert plus NeverMore will be there with Megadeth & Dream Theater.

Doesn't Thomas and Henrich have signature Caparisons already?

Yes, they do. They're basically like the Horus models but have the volume control moved a little further away, and they've got the Evergrey EY logo at the 12th fret, no other inlays (though, Tom had some dot inlays added to the higher frets on at least one of his models so he wouldn't get confused). They're just waiting on some 7-string models to be made.
