I saw Ratt in 1985 at my college (great show, they fuggin blew headliner Bon Jovi off the stage) and in 87 at the Garden, when terribly mixed sound made for a really off night. I loved that white "french" San Dimas with the crosses on it. Lay it Down is my favorite riff they did.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives
Well if you look at his site, he does sell his autographed guitars, of which he currently has nine (9)
Kudos to Warren for not signing it. Look what the guy did to smear his name. He even called him an (*)?
What a little crybaby
BTW, do any bros have access to the Long Island gig for me and the wife? I'd just like to shake Warren's hand and say a simple 'thank you.' Please PM me
Some video sounds AWESOME Shawn, I hope that can be done..
I met Warren super briefly after Whitesnake played in Sydney in 94. He was the main reason I went. He had just enough time to sign my cd covers while a tour guy kept telling him he had to get going. Warren flat out rules!!!!
Where are you staying in the Bahamas Shawn? Looks like there's another hurricane forming now. Tropical depression #5. I'm going to the Westin at our Lucaya the first week in Nov. Can't wait! Have fun and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for ya...DC
metaljunkie and I met Warren last night after the Myrtle Beach show, and I'm here to say he is a 100% class act. It was a fluke we were able to meet him; he, Robbie Crane, John Corabi, and Eric Brittingham were all standing around a car in the parking lot next to the buses. We just walked up, and asked if him if he would mind giving an autograph and having his picture taken with us. After obliging us, he talked to us for several minutes. He seemed very personable, gracious and polite as can be! Hell, he even asked us where we were from, and what we did for a living. I was great meeting someone who has been a guitar hero of mine for all of these years, and who seemed genuinely interested in speaking to us.
By the way, Ratt's sound last night was pretty muddy in the upstairs of the House of Blues, and Jizzy's vocals were non-existent in the mix. Overall, the band itself sounded sharp, and Warren blew me away...his leads were killer, but the vocals just weren't there.
metaljunkie or I will be posting pics once they're developed, and assuming they turn out.
We also met Jeff LaBar...very personable also and spoke to us for a while, John Corabi...cool as hell, talked to us for a hell of a long time all things considered, Eric Brittingham, Robbie Crane...spoke to us for a bit too, Jizzy Pearl, Bobby Blotzer...spoke with us for a couple of minutes also.
I looked at your avatar and said, which one would have that?
not the dude on the right.... You have a certain BLS look about you
Are you a giant or are Warren and the other dude real small....
