Great pix!!!! That tour was called "The 1980 Invasion".... I saw that tour in St. Louis, I was an 8th grader!!!!

thanks for the link. well, that sure is the origional (once white) frankie in one of it's many stages. the bridge pickup is white which i've never seen before and also the part of the pickguard is much smaller than the one used after this. hmmmm. well now i know if i ever have the urge to clone frankie it's going to be the version in my pics that i've never seen done before.

I do intend to make a 5150 replicate including the aged look. All the way down to the pickup having the same rewinding Ed had done. I haven't started yet, still scouting out all the resources.

IIRC that is a creme Dimarzio PAF & the peice of black pickguard just has tape over some of it!!
