    I don't think so......

Alot of Anthrax stuff got torched in a studio fire around the time of presistence of time I think. Not sure what made it and what didnt.

Looking at the pic at the start of this thread, and thinking about what guitars he used on and after the PoT Tour, it would seem like the graphic guitars got destroyed, and the 'wood' guitars didn't.....That seems like a very strange co-incidence though, but if they survived, I'd have thought they'd have showed up somewhere by now.

My guess is that the pic is from 1991.
Ian made a good point... But when you think of the guitars that are now out there they are the ones that were used on the POT tour. Maybe the fire indeed burned most of his guitar and only the tour guitars were saved? Or maybe they are all still somewhere with his relatives and close friends or something...
I need to watch the VH1 documentary again. I think it had some info about the fire.

Re: Danny Spitz and a whole pile of guitars!

I have seen maybe 2 of his Graphic guitars for sale in Japan over 10 years ago.
I saw them in person and I think one of them had Yellow stripes and graphics.
The other one could be a White one...I can't remember.

I saw the Solid Black Rhoads(with Gold parts,2hums) at my local Hard Rock Cafe about 5-6years ago.
Was replaced with something else later so not sure where it is now.

Re: Danny Spitz and a whole pile of guitars!

There was a thread here with one of his guitars in a Hard Rock in Hong Kong. From what I remember, it had bugs bunny with a big speach bubble - it wasn't the best looking one!

Following a thread on another forum, I was thinking that I have no idea what I'd be prepared to pay if one of his graphic guitars became available: I've loved them since I was a teenager, and I can't get Jackson to make a replica, but I still think I'd baulk at paying silly money for one....

When I saw one, it had a price tag of $3000 or something.
I thought the price wasn't bad but that was more than 10 years ago..

Arrggh - couldn't have afforded that much then, but for that price now it would me mine!

the fins are shorter since dan is only 2foot five.

Like bad seed says really. The proportions are slightly different - it's not just 7/8 the size of a Rhoads, and Dinky Rhoads = XTRR (extreme Randy Rhoads)

                          Here's a pic I took for comparision:

Popular is not the same as good

I actually think that Dan's Dinky RR body shape is not exactly the same as XTRR. I might be wrong cause I don't have the bengal XTRR anymore but it doesn't look the same to me.

last I heard danny gave all his jacksons away to hard rock and friends.

I must admit, I'd kind of thought that as well, but I just put it down the the angle the photos were taken from. To me, Danny's guitars have looked slightly thinner than an XTRR i.e. the wings don't spread out so far....
