Re: Live After Death

Good album, but "Beast Over Hammersmith" is a far superior show. It's available on the "Early Days Part 1" DVD and the "Eddie's Archive" CD set.

Great live album indeed, but Ozzy's Speak of the Devil has to be the best, IMO.

UNLEASHED IN THE EAST....1979

that shit got me started!!!!!!!

and FRANK MARINO AND MAHOGANY RUSH LIVE....1978

those two albums changed my life forever..

then The Scorpions Tokyo Tapes w / Uli GOD Roth...1978

Then speak of the devil...1982

Then Live after death came way later for me..

but I love Rock In Rio even more because the sound and production and performance on that is stellar!!

I also worship Halford's live insurection too...

and oh yeah what Donnie said...UFO!!!!!!

"Live Insurrection" is flawless!!! I almost hate to say that Pat and Metal Mike played the guitar parts better than I've ever heard KK and Glenn! And Rob sounds aggressive!

Oh absolutely dude...without a doubt!

I was bummed when he got back with Priest...even though that's where he belongs..

I just hope rob , Roy Z and crew work together again for another Halford solo...but if that happens it wouldn't be for quite some time..

I like latter Dickinson's and Halford's solo stuff better than their band effort for the most part...especialy lately...dance of death is pretty lame..I think.

I love Live After Death - It's so tied to me being 12 and my early teens it's not true! However, I can't believe no-one has mentioned Ozzy's Tribute.....
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get
