I like them all...the EP everything...get all of it man..there is something awesome on all their stuff..i promise..

then check into Forbidden...Jeff's ex bud and bandmate Tim Calvert...especially "distortion" and "green"...Tim and Jeff kicked ass together...he shares solos and writing on Dreaming Neon Black..I don't know if I was high or drunk but I swore I saw Tim kick Jeff ass one night.. TGE is outstanding! I've been listening to it for the last few day's. Can't say enough about Loomis, an incredible talent.

                Re: Jeff Loomis and...Warmoth?!?

As far as I'm concerned, Jeff Loomis can do no wrong. I've been listening to Cacophony a lot, and Jeff's playing on TGE reminds me of a cross between Marty Friedman and Jason Becker. The only thing I hate about Jeff's playing is knowing that no matter how much I practice, I'll never be as good as him.

No , but as a matter of fact Jeff gave me his seattle address and phone # some years ago...but I think he moved since then..

I just got to know Jeff by being a fan when Nevermore was just developing and always came thru town...a friend of mine always talks to him and introduced me to Jeff years ago..

Neveremore will be here tomorrow and John and I would like to attend but the weather is supposed to be shitty and it's an "outdoor" venue..in Cleveland

I told Jeff years ago .."how does it fucking feel to be amoung the best guitaistist in the world and be able to hang with guys like Malmsteen ans shit"...he looked at me like I was nuts and said "no way"...he just does his thing...he's a pretty humble dude when it comes to that stuff..

It's a shame that more guitar players don't know who Jeff is, because IMHO he is the most talented metal guitar player alive today.

After all the talk I finally went out and bought a couple of their CDs. And the guy really is impressive, the better moments kinda remind me of one of my favorites, Jason Becker and I've never heard anyone before that I could say that about.
