    i LOVE his work on TGE. everything sounds so amazing and most of all fresh (to me at least)

    and it is AWESOME to see bands writing something new and finding 'new' ways to play. cant really explain how i feel about the record, it's that good [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

      He used to play ESP LTDs and when he did he was either breaking a string or something bad would happen to his guitar and he'd have to switch mid-song at least once. I think he tried to get an endorsement but they didn't want to work with him.

        Gigantour was a complete ABORTION last night...I didn't go...but the second stage blew out and it was complete chaos...Nevermore played four songs ...Symphony X played Three songs...Daved got booed off stage and flipped everyone off and called some pudgy girl a fat lesbian....

        that sounded like alot of fun...and you couldn't meet any bands ...UNLESS you bought a cd..

            No from what I heard it was just chaos and shit....everyone was just outta sorts...including Dave they didn't enen play for an hour..then the boos...ensued..

            and you HAD to buys a cd to meet him...even if you owned it...but didn't bring it...to meet him...you had to BUY a cd...Now ...WTF???!!

            Maybe ...just maybe he should give up "jesus" and go back to the needle...I heard Glen Drover ...who I think is GREAT ...sucked...like he didn't even care or try...

            it was a bad scene...sure glad I didn't bring my boy for his forst metal show to put up with that BS...I would have had a fucking hissy fit..

              Sounds like a show blown by bad engineering. Alot of times when shit like that happens it just screws everything over. Cause everything I heard about the Gigantour so far has said its a fucking amazing show, far superior to Ozzfest. Especially Megadeath's set.

                I would think so....I was planning to go to this thing forever...BUT I just wasn't feeling up to it...(my back)...standing all that time..

                I'm sure glad I missed it...especially for $100...taking the boy..and whatnot..

                It was just good luck on my part..

                it was THE very first time I missed Nevermore since they rolled thru here...they played four songs...FOUR songs...TWENTY minutes...wow...damn.....shit.....I seen Nevermore like around eight times now...

                  I'm glad we ditched out on it. 150 bucks saved on my behalf and yours. For 20 minutes of SyX and 25 Minutes of Nevermore? Unbelievable. I'd have been sooo pissed...

                  I had a funny feeling about it that day too. Maybe it was all that rain. Weird it cleard up for the show at least.

                        I like Dave and his music. Everyone who has gone to see them says that the Gigantour has been "effin incredible"
                        Nevermore has been playing 45 minute sets ( i think and deth and DT have been playing 1hour) I think that was a freak deal

                          I agree about Mustaine. He just doesn't know when to shut his flapping trap. He's a legendary guitarist and the music world would be worse without his music but as a person I don't think I could put up being around the opinionated asshole for more than 30 minutes without wanting to strangle him dead. Its still alot cheaper than Ozzfest. Alot
