The good thing that the grunge years brought with them, is that they killed off all the pansy flowery shit. Quite honestly I'd rather listen to Curt Cowbrain than Faster Pussycat or whatever else in that genre...

everyone has a different taste, I personally like that good 'ol fun rock'n'roll-hot chicks-guitar solos thing, obiously rock'n'roll concerts aren't for you, there's no need to play slow solos or no solos at all, it is just pure fun and energy and some people like that, that's why they go to the rock'n'roll concerts, if you don't like that, it's ok to me.

Don't get me wrong. I like guitar solos. Songs without guitar solos sure are lacking something - just as a solo without a song is enough to bore me out of my skull...

I love his tone too. Great stuff.

I've got quite a few BLS/Zakk albums but I've never seen him live. There's something about watching that kind of footage that just makes him even greater than I already thought he was. It's just him and a guitar. Nothing else. Just raw skill.
