    Hmm. A friend of mine is playing drums for him - I would've come out if he'd remembered to email me...

    I hear it was a good show.
    Division - American Metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on Facebook.

      Did your friend just recently get the gig? Gary had tryouts down in Lowell Mas a few months ago ..

        Would that be Matt Scurfield? I had tickets to go but couldn't make it in Jurzee last night. Gary emailed me a few days ago and told me who is lineup is. Gary seems like a down to Earth dude.

          Yep, very nice guy and a RedSox fan .. LOL . Gary actually lives not far from me and is always playing the local clubs ...

            That would indeed be Matt Scurfield. Awesome drummer, hell of a guy - good to see him with a gig that pays. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

              Probably. Matt could get any gig he wanted, most likely - he's professional, easy to work with, and an awesome drummer that does most everything well.

                  The Boston area. He used to play in a band called Event, and was in Joe Stump and Mike Vescera's Regin of Terror for a while.

                        Stump is an amazing YJM knaock off player. I have been wanting to get my handfson some of his cds.
                        Stil cant find any...
                        Well short of guitar9...

                        Gary is a very good friend of mine.
                        And a great person all around.
                        At the Dallas Show last April, I teched for him and did security for him as his regular guys weren't at the show.
                        He really is a humble cat.
                        He asked me to tech for them next summer when they do a TX tour with some other well known players but I cant disclose that info.
                        Gary kinda got lost in translation with Joe and Steve and YJM and VM back in the day and I think he deserves more credit than he gets. he's not necc the same cailbre but
                        he was one of the pioneers of instrumental guitar.

                        My .02 cents anyways.
