Intro to reality/Belly of the beast is the first song I think of when the Pers. of Time album comes up. It may not be the crusher of the bunch, but it's got to be the most musically interesting.

my 2 favorite anthrax songs of all time. Also, dan's green ninja guitar flat out owns. I remember being a teenager and watching anthrax on headbangers ball, right about the time I started tinkering around with music. It's hard for me to even compare the two considering Megadeth (and Marty specificalloy) is the reason I even play guitar but growing up in NY you have a certain love for your hometown boys. Most of you seem to be fans of Joey but I prefer them with Bush on vocals but to each his own.

It's hard to compare two bands that are such different animals. Megadeth is serious in every way, from themes depicted in the music to the composition and playing itself. Where Anthrax is pretty much the thrash Van Halen in my mind, fun shit to party to.

Actually, I did see the last Kreator/Destruction/Grave tour two years ago, and they were as insane as they were in the late 80s.

Too bad they don't focus on a show that highlighted REAL thrash bands that died when thrash did... Megadeth and Anthrax both went the sellout direction and turned into Commercial Rock.
