There's one for £689 on E-bay at the minute (ex demo). I'm also tempted - the one in the background of the photos was on sale last night (I think) - you can see PG signed it too. I was supposed to try one out yesterday as I had the day off - but weather was horrific (flooding in these here parts) & I was hungover from the night before anyway. I'm not sure I'll get on with the centre pickup - I always tap them with the plectrum while playing Strats. Lots of things I look for in a guitar & very similar, material wise, to the EBMMs I love. Although I think a Floyded version with the D-tuner mod would be in my spec., I like the simplicity of the PGM301. Should have tried one & made an offer for the signed one - now regretting that I didn't. PG mentioned the blocked off trem, etc & said his guitar was way cooler than the new one because of all the dents & dings, etc. In addition the the "Rock power" poses (the photo wasn't during his "chat", it was while he was playing to a backing track, so he really does put it all into practice) I loved the "sincere chord" & the way arpeggiating certain chords makes your head tilt
I can get a new one for a really good price, but it's just getting round to it! I'd love to get one in candy apple red with cream pickups and f-holes as well....hmmm!

Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get
maliciousteve, if that was the one in Letchworth, I was there and had the raffle ticket one higher than the winner
Paul Gilbert gets what it is all about. Living in Japan, he has done many gun slinging shows where locals get a chance to show what they can do for him at night clubs with a backing track. He is always smiling and encouraging. He is a genuine person with a great sense of humor and a lust for life.

You guys suck. I was pretty close to making a 200 mile trip to see him in the panhandle of FL, but I figured with a V8, all my gas for the week would disapear quickly!
I went the Poole (South Coast UK) clinic. Was awesome. He was really funny, almost note perfect playing, but he did screw up a little bit on technical difficulties, haha!
