Adrian mostly played his King V during his Bruce Dickinson solo project days. The second photo is a "Brave New World"/"Rock In Rio" era Fender Strat.

judging from the checkered floor, the pic with the V is probably from 2004's Dance of Death tour.
(as seen in the DoD cover art)
A live DVD from that tour entitled "Death on the road" will be released in just a couple of days...should be cool to see if he uses it there !

delayed due to finalising issues... from ironmaien.com ... i'm gonna go down later today and see if the accidentaly got a copy today =/ but i dont count on it..

hope it's released in a week or so. i really cant wait for it (hope they show footage of H with the V too [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img])

I saw them in Denver a couple of weeks ago and Smith played a sunburst Strat or cherry SG all night.

Actually, the photo of him playing the KV is from the Ed Hunter tour, the first one that had Adrian and Bruce back on the lineup.

In an interview 2 years ago in a guitar mag, he said that he was using his KV for drop D stuff.
