AWSOME players there, Strunz and Farah, Tommy etc.

All that bluegrass, flamenco, jazz stuff is way harder than metal shredding, all those guys use sick patterns and fingerings, damn I always have a hard time figuring out what the heck Django Reinhart or Chet Atkins were doing.
This is great for building your chops up.

i didn't get to see any 'awesomeness'...just a bunch of talking...and talking...then more talking ...and then a boring acoustic thingy...?

i gave up..

Wow, THATS complete control over your instrument. It's like a symphony!!! Certainly must be emotionally and physically tiring playing that stuff!

+1 I go 3 minutes into the first one and about 2 into the second and all I'm getting is talking and hokie acoustic tunes. Where's the action??

Just wait till past the first folk campfire song thing, in the first vid. From there on it's full on Tommy Emmanuel, his version of classical gas is awesome, and that drumthing on guitar is friggin' insane.

I have tons of respect for virtuoso acoustic players... no gain or processing to hide behind, just pure technique. Very inspiring indeed.

Yeah... the beginning was hard to get through.

The guys technique was absolutely amazing. My jaw just hit the ground when he started hitting those harmonics in Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

Last time I got the feeling of "I am not worthy to play guitar" like this was when I saw Michael Hedges at Villa Montalvo in Saratoga, CA.

I edited out all the talking to just the songs if anyone can host the files. The 1st one condensed from 1 hour to about 13 minutes and is about 43 Mb file. I haven't started the other one yet.
