I listeend to The Grand Conjuration and it sounded a little strange to me.But ı got used to it.Opeth is still opeth and they're growing as a band.I'm sure they'll make more money in the following years.

This CD is stuck in my CD player! I can't get it out! I just gets better and better the more you listen...

Has anyone figured out what this story is about? I have an idea but, I was wondering what others thought

Opeth is new to him..I told him its not "car" music..

To me there is certain Music for many occassions..the Car where people dodging each other on cell phones is NOT a good place to get familiar with a band such as Opeth.. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Opeth is an occassion all on it's own it is made for staying home on a gloomy rainy day , for firing a bowl and chill reading a book to , or to bang your woman to like I do..

Most people tend to like very STRAIGHT foward metal/music for the car..although if you listen to "music" in the car most of the time..and not much at home..and your "travel" time is required to familiarize yourself with new music..it will take much long to aborb bands such as Nevermore and Opeth than stuff like Slayer or AC/DC/ Maiden and such band witha much more traditional standard formula.. I have it in my Blazer and now I actually want the red light! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I'm going to get my coffe at the Tim Hortons coffee drive thu and I'm happy to see a line up cuz I can listen to the rest of "Ghost of Predition"! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Well this disc should be inbeded into my kids heads soon. Gives them a break from Nevermore TGE.

Mikael says that there's not really a binding concept to the entire album. Lots of similar themes in the songs. Ghost of Perdition is about giving birth to the antichrist, as far as I can tell. or somethign similar.
