Exactly , I just stated that there is alot of fans of his on this board...including me. That were were a bit disappointed that Jackson couldn't work out something with him..he started to "Fuck Jackson" , fuck this and fuck that..

At that very moment Jeff Loomis comes out of the bus and sees me and yells "Bill, the law, what's up dude". So I just turned my back on Alexi aiho and walked away and went to my boy..yeah well fuck you too. I was trying to be nice. But he was drunk and bitter. Later I learned in GW that he tried to kill himself close to the time of our meeting..obviously he had issuses.

yeah, boo hoo whatever ..all I know is ..ahemm..I treat others they way they treat me..I'd smack the makeup of that little fucker's face if I wanted to..not a prob..I wouldn't care if he's Jesus F'n Christ.

peavey 50/50 poweramp, lee jackson preamp (highly modded), rocktron Intelliflex or some shit

they use some really average stuff let's say and they make it sound great

yep that is exactly what I thought too when I heard that single..

at least there was still a decent solo in it..the only saving grace , because the song blew.

don't know what song is the new single but the album is actually pretty good though.. it's not a masterpiece like hatebreeder.. It has the same style as HCDR.. I prefer the old style but the new album is a solid piece of metal imo

but the one song I did hear wasn't that great...just the solo was cool.

It depends on the album.

Something Wild:
- Peavey 5150

Hatebreeder:
- Lee Jackson GP-1000 Preamp
- Rocktron Intelliflex
- Rocktron Velocity 250 (nasty solidstate thing)

Follow The Reaper:
- Lee Jackson GP-1000
- Rocktron Intelliflex
- ENGL E 840/50

Hate Crew Deathroll:
- Lee Jackson GP-1000
- Rocktron Intelliflex
- 5150 Poweramp (in the effects loop, bypassing the preamp)

As for the cabs, Alexi seems to use a Marshall JCM-900 Lead 1960 4x12" most of the time.

I don't know anything about the gear they used during the last album though. I didn't really like it.

It's very interesting that they both used a Jackson J50BC with the GP1000 booster, a pickup that many consider crap (acutally I've so many old Jackson with the original electronics stripped down to place EMG)...

Actually, I was pleasantly surprised by the J50BC. It was just a little too loose for my taste and a little underpowered, so in went an EMG-85 in its place...

How does Roope switch pickups on the black/white pinstripe guitar? I only see a volume knob and preamp switch.
