Loomis videos?

A while back, someone posted a video of loomis playing some stuff from their new album. Recently, Nevermore has grown on me. THEY ARE FRIGGIN SWEET!! Anyways, Loomis is turning into one of my all time favs. His technique and tone are fantastic. Does anyone know where I can find some videos of him playing?

Apart from the Guitar World video (posted here recently), there's a bootleg from an Australian tour from '92 out there somewhere. I haven't seen it yet though.

The original release of Enemies of Reality was available with a bonus disc which included live footage of a couple of songs, plus the video for Believe in Nothing.

You can also watch some of their videos over at Launch.com. That's where I saw the video for Final Product for the first time.

I wonder which guitar Loomis uses.A schecter c7 blackjack or a hellraiser.On the schecter site,it says blackjack,which has duncans.On Loomis' site it says that he uses emg's which hellraiser have on itself.But a friend of mine said he saiw a cocnert video of him playing the blackjack.But in his lesson video he uses a hellraiser.I got really confused.

He has, and has used, both. I think the Hellraiser is the newest one, and he used the Blackjack before that - and a 007 Elite before that, too.

Hey bill, what kind of setup does he us when he runs used/uses his pod? Does he run it straight into a PA or does he do something else?

he doesn't use his pod anymore..on the new album it says that he uses Peavey.. sounds like a XXX..maybe a Krank someone mentioned..but he only plays 7 strings now...and he makes the GROWL!!!

I talked to Jeff many times at length...once just him and i sitting at a bar table with him peeling the label of his beer..after soundcheck

He doesn't know too much about different players , bands , Amps and stuff..

His all time favorite record is Ride the Lightning and he loves Yngwie..

He worships Messuggah for rythms ideas..

He didn't even know about Coroner..I burned him a copy..

and whenever asked about his solos..he say ..he just goes for it..

some are worked out...most are not.

i think he used some type of poweramp, but i can't recall right now what exactly it was.
however, later on he switched to rectifiers for live, and then quickly turned over to peavey XXX heads. now he's endorsed by krank amps (steve too), and used those for gigantour (although there are rumors that he had a miced up recto behind his kranks). for the euro tour right now he's using rectos.

for recording, he used to use mesa dual/triple rectifiers (2 ch) for Eor and dhiadw. tge is dual recto and a krank revolution. earlier albums featured a triaxis/2:90 setup (dnb), a mesa mark iv head (in memory and poe), and the very first one was recorded using some solid state rack setup i also can't remember right now....by the way, the first one was actually 2 different sets of demo tapes put together.

He used a recto when I saw him with COB and Dimmu..

COB used a pod and sounded like ass , although alexi was on his game (he better be that night) ..and Jeff's amps were hidden from view..I thought he played they same gear..I asked him if if played the PODs COB used..he said no..I used my recto...

Dimmu's bus broke down in Winsconsin..Nick Barker left them there and partied with Nevermore and never went back to Dimmu since..Nick told me.."fuck those guys..bunch of whining pussies" [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
