Re: Lynch Mob - REvolution

Bill, he used Uber with Diezel VH-4 on that.

I like the tone on the Lynch/Mob album, I think he used Recto's there.
Revolution sounds too muddy for me.

Yeah I would agree..very muddy to me liking and ears..

I know a Uberschall can be muddy if you dial it that way..but it's can be brutal , focused and edgy as hell too..I know dat!

Am I the only one who thinks Mandy Lions' vocals were perfect for The Beast Parts I and II?

One thing's for sure, the groove of that song keeps it on heavy rotation while I'm driving.

No. Despite the nightmares it gave me, I actually think all the vocal parts were well cast. (Yes, even the Nelson brothers)

Even if you don't like Lynch's newer stuff, you have to respect his willingness to expand his playing by trying different stuff.

Listened to it again last night. Better than I remembered but I still like the originals better. I just don't dig the detuned, muddy sounding rhythm tracks.

Re: Lynch Mob - REvolution

I think I like the Lynch Mob tunes on REvolution better than the Dokken ones. I especially like She's Evil But She's Mine and The Secret. Much better than the originals, IMO.
