Yes. I met Jake in '94 and he told me Ray was sharing needles. He went quickly.

from what i've heard, jake says a lot of things. i guess he and ray did not get along very well at all, so it wouldn't surprise me if he was being a punk. never know, though.

yeah the public story on Ray was lots of unprotected sex.

I talked to him in '94 when he was doing a solo tour with Mandy Lion (he sucked hard live). Jake seemed very down about Ray's passing...I didn't get the impression he was being anything less than sincere. I guess we'll never know for sure...
