I discovered this band after watching the Lamentations video. I haven't heard much of them yet but what I have heard so far is pretty cool. Anyhow they are coming to Chicago to do two shows at the Park West with Robert Fripp in order to film a DVD. Might be a good show if anyone in Chicagoland is interested.

Eh, I think they are a tad overrated.

Yeah, I picked up the previous one and it just wasn't metal enough for me. I guess I should try and listen to them on their own merits but I was expecting a bit more. The only solution to GAS is DEATH...

Re: Porcupine Tree
I like them quite alot, I have bought their last two albums and spent many joyful listens with them.
I also saw them live on April 17th, it was a very good show! Very professional.
Although Anathema gave them kind of a run for their money, because they were much more enthusiastic and emotional on stage - those who have seen Anathema live probably know what I mean.
But still I enjoyed Porcupine Tree a tad more, I think... I just like them.
Check them out, they definitely make good music.
