+1 it's totally awesome. it's very similar to opeth or nevermore in that it takes quite some time to get into it. there's SO much going on.

I figured out the song its Loss And Curse Of Reverence... My work speakers made that sound horrible! My headphones at home sound a lot nicer... Thanks for sharing.

Definitely Sectdaemon on bass/backing vox, at the end you can clearly see his face and the Kelly shape of his bass.
So most of Zyklon now got incorporated into Emperor.

Yes, Sechtdaemon on bass, the song was Loss and curse..
The guy on keys was Einar Solberg from Notodden wich is the place all these musicians comes from. Emperor, Zyklon, Myrkskog, Limbonic Art...
I don´t know anything more about that guy, sorry, but they said his clean backing vocals was very good.

I agree. I love that band. Every release is awesome in a different way. Some of the tracks on Ad Noctum are just like, pure energy being unleashed. Crazy stuff. Sucks that they broke up though. I've not been very impressed with Morfeus's project, Dimension F3h, and I haven't been able to find anything of Daemon's other project.

Peccatum is okay, in my opinion. Has its moments of greatness here and there.

The first Zyklon album was awesome, some definitely excellent / inspiring sections throughout, the second one was average at best. Funny story, when Zyklon toured in like 2001 (maybe 2002) with Morbid Angel and Deicide, I went to that show and was right up front headbanging like a madman the whole time. After they finished playing, I talked to Destructhor for a couple minutes and I told him I was a big fan and I really was enjoying the album. He looked at me like "Huh?" and he said "Wow, you're the second or third person this tour that actually has heard of us before we played."

In my opinion, both of those projects are nowhere near as good as Emperor though.

Myrkskog is also excellent. Deathmachine, to me, sounds almost exactly like Zyklon, but is still excellent in its own way. I figured that it'd be an impossible album to follow, but they impressed the hell out of me with Superior Massacre. I am really looking forward to the next album, though I sort of question when, or even if there will be another one with over half of Myrkskog in Zyklon and now Sechtdaemon also playing in Emperor.

yeah peccatum is great, but Isahnn experiments a bit too much for it to be very rewarding upon first listen. It's definately interesting music IMO.

I dun know, I realy like Zyklon Aeon, the first one has more of an Emperor vibe. and I totally agree, none of the side project match Emperor in any way. Emperor is up there with OPeth for me. Perfect match of intensity and musicality.

Yeah, they´re involved in a lot of great bands, the first Zyklon album is totally awesome.
You might be exited about this, but Ihsahn is in the middle of recording a solo album, release circa march.
A metal album that is with all his metal influences melting together.
According to himself it will sound a bit as Emperor (of course).
