Did I here someone say "Lick it up"?
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh man, ALL of the Kiss videos were awful!
How about "All Hell's Breakin'Loose" - Post-apocalyptic warriors with spandex, heels 'n' poofy hair , in the land of feral women!
Come to think of it, that was the plot for most of the vids of that period....

hey!!! my old girlfriend was in lick it up, and she was also in bon jovi's in and out of love . curly blonde hair, and a body that was just about perfect. the videos blew the big one though. she used to go out with ray gillan before me. she was named daisy, and she was a knockout. oh those beautiful days that are now decades away. god damnit, it's a shame that youth is wasted on the young-lol
you want cheese? someone find the twisted sister video for the song hot love off the love is for suckers album. the video is about the band memebers being in love with a hot girl that drives a sweet black corvette and Dee is in love with the vette. now the cool part, the black corvette that is more of a star in the video than the band...is my fathers 1982 highly modified corvette!! also in the video is my brothers 1969 pro street Camaro (pro street is a drag racing class for those who don't know). i was there for the whole shoot of the video as a kid and have a bunch of behind the scenes pics and the original VHS of the video from the studio. however i have no way to get it onto the computer. but that's just classic 80's cheese for me but also one of the cooler 80s videos since it has some racing and cool cars in it. plus my dad and brothers cars are in it...how cool is that!!
if someone can find that video online for me to download i will give you a present! (seriously)
Almost forgot my favorite cheesy video - Armored Saint's Can U Deliver. The part at the beginning where they play the intro to March Of The Saint is classic. The outfits, the car and especially the part with the sword in the rock. When they all gather round and put their hand on the sword, the look on Gonzo's face is priceless. The just exhaled expression...good stuff.

I have that video on DVD, that's a great video. There's actually a cool Jackson Kelly in that video as well.
I have to say, my favorite car from that video is the GTO (it may have been Tempest) that Dee was driving right before the scene where the girl is washing the car.
Reb Beech is playing guitar for "Hot love" ..for your info..those guitarists wern't THAT talented..they sessioned a real player to put some "shred" on that ..because shred was were it was at at that time.
I don't think he was credited on the album..but I've talk to Reb and he was surprised I knew that...his response was.."Those guys didn't even know that..they didn't know who I was or even met me."
My wife and I hung out with Reb and his wife for a couple hours..and Dokken..nice Guys but Don was kind of a jerk..Jeff Pilson and Mick Brown were hilarious and great guys!!!
They treated me like royalty as their guest...very cool
BTW Reb was a bit intimidated and humble and had the upmost respect for Lynch and tried to play his solos and songs true to form..tone and all..I thought he did a great job!!
"Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!
"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.
oh man TX if you can get me a copy of that either online for me to dowload or a DVD copy i would owe you BIG!!
the car he was driving was a blue convertable GTO with a white top and white interior. that skid scene they did where he sees her washing the car took like 20 takes to get right lol. i remember sitting there and watching it over and over lol. being at that video shoot was one of the coolest things ever. getting to hang out with the band and such...too bad i was so young at the time i know i would enjoy it more if it was today. i remeber Dee wearing pink converese chucks for the video and i begged my mom to get me a pair but we couldn't find pink ones in my size so i got teal ones and the next day i showed Dee and told him i couldn't find pink but he said something along the lines of "don't worry, the teal ones are cool too little man." they were all nice guys to me and my family the whole time!!
another story about that video was when they shot the first opening race scene they let the blonde drive my dads vette a short distance and she managed to lightly crash into the camera truck...DOH. so the studio paid to have the whole car repainted. i have a bunch of cool memories/stories about that shoot.
good times!
horns: i didn't know Reb played on that. man no wonder i can never get that riff 100% right lol. i've wanted to learn that song for a while but always give up. same with the main riff to "Seventeen". i love Reb's style but i just can't match it for some reason. well, that explains that.
i'm going to scan a few pics and make a new thread about it so look for that.

Dokken , "Breakin' the chains"..oh man.."ghey"..the part with the chick on the phone????!!!
Hell, they were all gay..watching some of that stuff now..yeeeeeshh
[/ QUOTE ] no shit. saw that on metal mania the other day. man it was gay. I can't remember the song but this damn Man O War video was pretty much the cheesiest video I have ever watched. It hurt to watch it.
> Most all of the Dokken vids oozed with Velveeta.
> Whoever mentioned Ball To The Wall,+2.
> Blue Oyster Cult,Burning For You,just horrible.
> Judas Priest,Breakin' The Law and You Got Another Thing Comin' stand out here.
> Just about every Poison video.
> E'Nuff Z'Nuff,Fly High Michelle,smokin'solo,totally GAY video.
> Anyone remember the Pull Me Under video?
> I can't remember the name of the song, but there was a Kix video that had a hot chick smuggling rock music into her bedroom, only to get busted by a fugly Shirley Temple looking girl dressed like a Boy Scout that was obviously anti-rock,like she was a snitch for the nuns that ran the Catholic looking school they were in. The ugly girl breaks down the door, gets blown away by the music, and the hot chick winds up on stage with the band. The guitar player is playing a white Fernandes Rhoads copy. I thing the name of the song is Break Down The Walls.
> All the Cinderella videos.
> Quiet Riot was also good for enough slices of American to feed everyone you know.
> I also agree with every other video mentioned in this thread. Tommy D.
