Well i mentioned in the 80's video thread that one of my favorite 80's videos is the video for Twisted Sisters "Hot Love" off of the Love is For Suckers album. well, the video is basically about the band wanting a hot (80's) blond and Dee wanting a sweet black Corvette that she drives and races people in. well, the black Corvette in the video is my father's highly modified 1982 vette (since sold though [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] ) also in the video is my brothers 1969 pro street Camaro (pro street is a drag race class for those who don't know). his car is in the race scenes where the girl races a bunch of cars. anyway as a kid i was there with my family for every day of the shoot. we were paranoid with them having our familys high dollar modified cars without us there to watch. so they were cool and let us be there for every day of the shoot. the shoot took place in various areas on Long Island. i have other pics but these were the few i decided to scan. also you can see the sweet Jackson Kelly (i blew up those pics). sorry the quality isn't great but it's better than nothing.
i have many stories about this shoot and how cool and kind the band was to me and my family. about 2 years ago or so i had spoken to Dee about it and we briefly went over the shoot and such and he remebered the car and my family!
as i mentioned in the other thread, one big WHOOPS moments was in the beginning of the video there is a drag race scene where the blond chick in the video actually drove my fathers Vette for a short distance while filiming and managed to crash it into the camera truck...OUCH!! the studio was cool about it and paid to reapaint the whole car no questions asked! thankfully she was going real slow and damage was very minimal that they were able to hide from the camera with some black gaffers tape until the shoot was over.

txcharvel said he has a copy of the video that he may be able to get online so hopefully he can do that and you can all see one of the best 80's videos!!!
also, in the video (if tx and i can get it uploaded) you will see both my dad's real NY plate on the car "NO JOSHN" and the plate that reads "HOT LOVE" both plates are hanging over my desk right now. they forgot to change the plate over to the "HOT LOVE" plate a few times in the shoot so it changes randomly throughout the video lol.
ahh the good old days...some cool memories.
also, if anyone has a kelly with that graphic let me know, i'd really like to own one for sentimental reasons.
