James Byrd is amoung my very faves bro. I have everything that dude put out from Fifth angel to all his Alanitis Rising stuff and solo stuff ..

a master player amoung the the very best of them. I say he's a mix between Uli and Malmsteen...so anyone into either would love this guy ..I do..

even tho a lot of his music is really heavy on the Christian flavor ..doesn't bother me in the slightest ..talent is talaent..I don't care what the lyrical theme to the music is as long as the music is killer and James Byrd always delivers..

Eric Lars Mattsson is also a very similiar in style to my ears.. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
