Saw Def Leppard last night. Good show. We were able sit just at the side of the stage, so I took some pics. Also. me and the GF ran into Phil and his girl at Starbucks a while before the show. He was super nice, and signed some stuff for us and posed for some pics. We chatted a bit about his new PC1's. He asked me what color *I* was going to get During the show he saw I was checking out his licks - after the last encore he gave me his pick. I didn't know he played with a metal pick?

He's aging gracefully. I miss the days when I could mow the lawn w/o a shirt.

He's actually fighting it every step of the way. He doesn't drink, smoke, do drugs, or eat meat. He's exercises regularly. Mainly, he's been an example of clean and healthy living after he kicked the alcohol habit in the 80s.

Guitars are Jacksons best kept secret IMO.
Best tone of any of them - there may be some Charvels that sound as good depending upon pups and material but the PC1s have the best tone I have ever heard in a guitar and better than any of the Jackson neck throughs.
And the necks although not thin and have a 1-11/16 nut are easy to play - very smooth. Fret jobs are fantastic. I like a larger neck otherwise my hands cramp from all the vibrato.
I don't use he Sustainer much because the thing has so much sustain as it is you don't need it. But the sustainer can make is sound super mean especially when you use the octave jump option.
Shreddermon you will love that guitar.PLAY TILL U DIE !!!
