Thanks for the video,Paul rules. But even more thanks for the link to this website. I found all kinds of stuff from Video Google - Steve Vai,Eddie Van Halen,Death and some other stuff...It rules.
It will probably be a while. Scott has Judas Priest, John has Mars Volta, Jeff is doing his own solo album, and Paul has his own solo stuff going.
Getting Heavier just came out a few years ago and it's pretty good, that's the latest RacerX album and hopefully not the last!
It's pretty much up to Universal Japan and their schedules if there will be another one. With out that label there wouldn't be anything from Superheroes on.
They just had a big discussion on the RacerX board.
And Bruce will probably never be back, he seems to be a little strange when it comes to his RacerX days, at least that's what I get from reading on the RX board.

+1, I didn't know of video google but I'm finding all kinds of cool stuff. I've been a fan of his since '87 and saw him at a clinic in '89 right before the first Mr.Big album. Like others have said, one of the most incredible players out there but has fun doing it and doesn't take himself too seriously. I've only seen his first instructional video but it is one of the best.
As far as Bruce, I thought he wasn't playing with Racer X because he had some kind of hand/wrist injury? Because he co-produced and co-wrote some of the songs on Technical Difficulties, so he's obviously still involved with the band.
I just watched the whole thing. Technique is flawless. Creativity, cool for 2 mins, but now I remember why I never got overly into Paul back in the day.

Always been a big fan of Paolo Gilberto. I like how he comes across as such a cool guy with that goofy sense of humour, even tho' he's got chops that would tear most peoples' faces off!
As an aside, is there any way to save that clip to my Harddrive? I've tried every way I can think of, with no success. I know most of you guys are gonna be way more savvy with computers than an old Luddite like me!

Actually, the file is on your computer. Flash Video has a FLV extension. What you can do is goto the link again, then search your temporary internet folder for the files which match *.flv. Once you have found it, copy it to your desktop or whereever else that you want to save it. Because flash video is usually not supported by most players, you will have to find yourself one.

He suffered that after they broke up. He had a band called Scream for a while. I didn't mean he wasn't still friends with them all, he played on one of Paul's solo albums. He just wants to distance himself from being in RX it seems. The admins on the site have a bootleg video of RX that they wanted to let out and maybe sell to help finance the site and give some to the band too, apparently he pooped all over the idea. So it has never happened. They even offered to let it go for free and he still said no.
No one will divulge the info behind it all, just that he wasn't down with it.
