So what do we have...? RATT, Stryper, Anthrax, Dokken, and some others whose guitarists we always hear about on here. I'd like to try some of these bands' songs, so could you guys suggest good songs from these bands, and more? I know it's all suggestive but it'd be a start.

They might be mentioned here, but that does not make them hair metal. They are not in any way hair metal, other than they have hair.
