• Mendeed...anyone like them?

Mendeed from UK has most of my playing time recently...they seem to be getting bigger and bigger, and is currently touring with Dragonforce herman li

I simply LOVE their style. death +thrash metal mixed with hardcore, plus a little 80s metal and super fast drum beats.....just add a bit more melodic death influences and its what metal means to me.
Any JCFer digs Mendeed? I'm trying to look for similar bands (ofcourse...similar but different), any bands they they sound like or are influenced by, and bands with similar drumming. I dont really like their clean vox parts though.
Melodic Death metal plus hardcore seems to be my thing. I really dig this style (not metalcore). Melodic parts, cool leads and some crazy headbanging shit is what i like.
PLease recommend some!

check them out!

I like the music, but the vocals aren't really too my taste- not a hardcore fan. Nixon's a good guitarist though, and he's always had a great tone when I've seen them live

Now that's good shit!

If you want a "true" melodic metalcore band to check out,
Check out NEHEMIAH. They are now split up (RIP) but they put their last mcd out this past summer called "LENORE".
Very Euro-metal sounding, with the fast blast beats, and NO clean vocals...all growl, all the time!
The guitars are very neo-classical, with some really trippy clean interludes! The have branched out into other projects...one guitarist is now in Dead To Fall, and the three remaining members are forming a new band in the same vein as Nehemiah.

Check 'em out here
