According to a posting on guitar legend Michael Schenker's (MSG, UFO, SCORPIONS) official web site, all previously reported legal "issues" regarding his ability to re-enter the United States have been resolved and his originally announced dates with LESLIE WEST and DOUG DOPPLER beginning late December will go ahead as scheduled.

Jan. 06 - Sayreville, NJ - Starland Ballroom
Jan. 07 - Springfield, VA - Jaxx
Jan. 12 - Dallas, TX - Granada Theater
Jan. 15 - Concord, CA - Bourbon Street
Jan. 17 - Bakersfield, CA - Club Extreme
Jan. 19 - San Diego, CA - Canes
Jan. 20 - Ventura, CA - Ventura Theater
Jan. 21 - W. Hollywood, CA - Key Club
Jan. 22 - Santa Ana, CA - Galaxy Theater

Bassist Rev Jones will reportedly be doing double duty on the tour, playing for both MSG and LESLIE WEST.

Michael Schenker has spent the last few months working on a special CD to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP. Entitled "Tales of Rock 'n' Roll", the album will feature guest appearances by past MSG singers, including Robin McAuley, Kelly Keeling, Gary Barden, Leif Sundin and Chris Logan. A total of 18 tracks are being recorded.



I would love to go.

It's during NAMM too....so that may be a problem getting back to Hollywood from Anaheim.

HE HAS NOW CANCELED THIS TOUR, because he's afraid to come back from Germany to the US because of financial and jail threats from the two bitches he got himself tangled up with over the years.

goddammit, this is the second time in two years I bought a ticket to see him, only to have the show cancelled. and I get to lose money cause TicketBastard never refunds their goddamn extra charges.

MS is my all time guitar hero, but from now on I'm waiting until the last minute and buy a ticket at the box office the night of the show. this is fucking ridiculous.

if you want to sample the absurd drama, check it out on his website, he's posted a bunch of emails back and forth that are just incredible, what a clusterfuck. and he even threatens to cancel the Dean endorsement cause Dean won't handle the manner in the way he wants.

Dude's a friggin mental basket case. I saw him last time around and he played great but he's been f-d up since day one. Great player though, amazing sense of melody.
