favorite singer?

seeing Tekky's post about Lizzy Borden having one of his favorite singing voices made me think about my favorite singers.

all-time favorite: Graham Bonnett - his incredible voice on the first Alcatrazz album, MSG's Assault Attack, and Impelliteri's Stand in Line gives me douchechills every time. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

other greats: Phil Mogg, Perry Farrell, Robert Plant, Rob Halford (the earlier JP stuff)

what do you guys think?

Well, that depends. Are we talking about any genre, or just rock? I would assume Rock. I have always thought these guys had great pipes:

Sebastian Bach
Steve Perry
David Coverdale
Jeff Tate.

However, I also really love David Lee Roth, even if his voice isn't that strong.

Tommy, have you ever heard the cold sweat(Marc Ferraris post keel) demos with Oni Logan?They were known as Ferrari then, they used to play it on Z-rock all the time.That was some cool stuff, great singer

Oni Logan was great on the first Lynch Mob cd, and then poof, he's out of the band and I've never heard anything from him since. I remember reading GL saying something about OL being indecisive in the studio and flip-flopping around on how he wanted his vocals to sound, apparently it drove GL crazy and he went and got that Robert Mason guy for the 2nd Lynch Mob cd (which was nowhere near as good a cd as the first one).

has Oni been gigging with a local LA band since then? I think GL took him from that Ferrari band IIRC.

He had a band with ROwan Robertson for ahwile and he did a 3 song cd with lynch mob in 1999 called syzygy , no idea what the hell that means.

Gl did steal him, aksed if he wanted to be in a band called ferrari, or own one, lol.
