Personaly i dont think he is that great of a player, he is good at what he does, but not great. I really think he peaked on the first two ozzy albums he did and after that he tried to hard to get away from his early metal days that he lost something in the process.

The chicken pickin was a neat novelty in the beginning, but doing slide intros and such was really overkill.

I just don't understand why a bunch of guitarists have any reason to slam someone because of the way he looks. He's not one of my favorite players either, but what the fuck difference does it make what he looks like?

I'm guessing that, even with his stinky dirtball biker-guy look, Zakk still looks better than 90% of the dudes slamming him.

Guy's a talented player, but I've never been impressed with his writing, with Ozzy or otherwise.

As for his 'look', couldn't give a crap about that. Somehow I doubt he's putting on an act, at least entirely. It'd be worse if he still had 1988 poofy hair.

i talked to somebody i knew at the custom shop and he would say what the guitar would look like because they are waiting for the final approval from zakk. but he did tell me that it wouldnt be the buzzsaw.
