  • Sebastian Bach in VH?

I caught Ricky Rachtman (sp?) on the radio Christmas day doing his NASCAR show. He said there's a rumor floating around that Sebastian Bach might be the new singer for VH.

Eddie and 'baz together....that line-up would last 2 days.... it would be cool tho.

With the way Eddie bitches about lead singer egos, I seriously doubt that the idea of SB in the band will ever be entertained.

That, and Sammy and Dave together aren't 1/4 the singer SB is. The guy would be bored singing those tunes.

        Lead Singers Disease

No way eddie could handle the guys ego, as good as he in the studio, he goes flat live everytime.

Diamond Dave should be the only guy considered.

Although, i am reminded of the line From The wedding singer.......

I think Bas actually has less of an ego than Dave, and a better voice. It'd be pretty cool if he were in VH, but that most likely won't happen.

SB always complained that he wanted a band that would write songs WITH him, and not send him the finished songs to put vocals to.

VH, eddie actually, get together with the singer and they write the songs together.

this is the type of working relationship that SB has always wanted. and if they could work this out. i'd buy the album. and hey, maybe SB could knock some since into eddie. sb does have a good outlook on life.

Don't ya love the rumor mill...
Its not gonna happen get over it.
VH as 4 piece band are done.
Nobody wants to sing for VH knowing how difficult Eddie is to stomach.
I love Eddie, he is the guru/master of rock guitar.
But you folks need to stop blaming the singer/s for the bands problems. The problem has always been and will always be Eddie. Its his way or the highway, and most people don't want to work or be a part of such conditions/restrictions no matter how nice the pay check is. He's a dictator and his own demise.

The rumor in the George Lynch camp is that Lynch is talking with Bach, Vinnie Paul and Michael Anthony.

I don't personally know what it's like to work with Eddie, but my band opened up for Sebastion's Skid Row a couple years ago. The guy was probably the biggest dick I've ever met in my life. I wouldn't imagine the 2 of them working together would pan out too well, figured the rumor was worth mentioning though.

That would be amazing, though no one can replace DLR in VH.

jeez, how do these rumours get around? Michael Anthony was on the Jonathon Brandmeier show here in Chicago about two weeks ago and they took calls from listeners about possible singers for Van Halen. One caller mentioned Baz, MA sounded intrigued, but that was it. I would have figured the revelation that EVH is basically the stopgap would be more newsworthy. They've skirted around that issue for the longest time, but MA confirmed it.

Story I heard 3 - 4 months ago was that if the producers decided to do a 2nd season of "Rock Star" it could possibly be called:

                              ROCK STAR - VAN HALEN
                              Charvel: Model1, 2 & 5, Surfcaster 12
                              Jackson: DK2, JRS-2, Kelly
