More than likely I will go. I doubt they'll sell out, so I'll buy tix at the door. I just have to make it there in time to see God Forbid too.

OK, I'm still alive! The anthrax show last night was great. Openers Mantis hafd sound problems and you didnt hear the guitars for half the set ... and when you did finally hear them you wish they would turn them back off. Sworn Enemy, hardcore, that's all it is, don't go in expecting Cynic here. God Forbid ruled ass! THose guys always deliver live.

Anthrax looked good, sounded good, played a good set including some deep cuts so it was well worth it. Show seemed short though. I must say that Charlie's drumming gets more powerfull and brutal every time I see them, the guy's intence.

Okay, a quick follow-up. I ended up going and glad that I did. Sworn Enemy were alright, God Forbid sounded really good...a lot more lead guitar/harmony stuff than I anticipated.

Oh yeah, Anthrax was real good too! Their entire set was a blast from the past. I think the latest song they did was Got the Time which was from 1990?! They did a lot from Among and Spreading which was cool. I honestly haven't heard these albums in literally years, and it was super cool to hear them live. I couldn't believe Joey sounded so good...hitting those notes with no prob. Even Spitz's ugly ass PRS's didn't spoil it! There was actually one he played at the end they looked decent. It was a hemi-orange with bright green flames on it. It was easy to tell the whole band was into the show. And Joey must've mentioned 4 or 5 times how great it was for him to be on stage playing these songs.

There was only one song I didn't recognize which they opened their encore with. It was pretty short n thrashy, but had a cool mid part where both Spitz and Ian were doing a tapping thing in harmony. I figure it was something off their 1st cd which I actually have, but never really listened too. Any ideas? Overall, a good show that's recommended.
