Impossible to choose 5 but here are favourites at this moment in time...

Jerry Cantrell (always number one for me)
David Gilmour (beautiful music)
Eddie Van Halen (TONE, TONE, TONE and great songs, riffs and solos)
Chris DeGarmo/Michael Wilton (these two were awesome together)
Mikael Åkerfeldt/Peter Lindgren (these two ARE awesome together!)

Honourable mentions: Dime, the Megadeth guys, the Skynyrd guys, the Metallica guys, Jimmy Page, Slash, Navarro, Angus and Malcolm Young, Zakk etc etc
