Yea, great discussion! Greg Koch is a killer player in his own right. He is very efficient at many blues styles. When I lived in Milwaukee I got to see this "unknown" player and he knocked me out of the chair. And yes he does talk at lot and goofy too. Fender likes him. He's the Cyber Twin spokesman!
With Stevie his playing is just errie! I can't have the stereo on and listen to his music while I'm doing something else. It does something to me, It's depression like. Maybe because he is gone. If I listen to learn, it's just amazing. Old Fender amps, large strings and an attitude is the sound.
