Well, safe to say that I'm hella psyched about this album now. The playing is excellent as always, and the backing harmonies from Crosby and Nash are beautiful. A month away...

That is a beautiful song, with some really tasty guitar work.

I can't wait.

Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

Classic guitar tone. Crosby and Nash sounded great. I like to crack out some old CSN and CSN&Y when I am in the mood for some great sounding singing.

I didn't get to see them in Houston last week, but heard the reports they were awesome.
Yea, on the CS & N, I just bought the DVD "Acoustic" set they did in 1990 at the Warfield Theater in S.F., CA. A must have for fans. The harmonies and guitar work were impeccable!!!

He's always got such tasty tone. He's my inspiration for not having to play lighting fast.

Gilmour is the epitome of playing for feel. I only got into Floyd about 2 years ago and I can't believe it took this long.

Gilmour rocks

that is quite an interesting way of looking at influence and I agree, it is very important. mine was Schenker. same idea.

Gilmour's work in PF was groundbreaking and incredible. I'm glad he's back out with new music.

I like that track more than most of the stuff on the last PF album--it's probably liberating for him not to have to write and play within the preset expectations people have for a Floyd album.
