I've been listening to this CD a bit lately and I really like Nuno's sound. Anyone know what his rig was for this Album.

Not 100% sure, but I think PG was pre-Washburn.

When I saw him during the PG tour, it looked like he was using Ampeg cabinets, but I'm not sure if he had the ADA + power amp.

The video of 'get the funk out' shows him with a Nuno style rev headstock Washburn. Doesn't look like a Stephens cutaway tho. Not sure when the prototypes came out and first production guitars, I think it was '90 tho, pre '92.

To me.. I've heard the ADA story...which may be some of what he recorded with and I've heard he's toured with them in his rack but it honestly sounds like a Soldano or a hodrodded Marshall on Porno and some of 3 Sides to me. If its an ADA, I'd say its likely modded.

On Porno, it was a Furman PQ-3 into an ADA MP-1 into a MacIntosh power amp, and finally into a vintage Marshall cabinet (the same cabinet that George Lynch used to record Under Lock and Key).

Oh, btw. These are the settings that Michael Wagener used for the Extreme, Skid Row, WHite Lion tones. Keep in mind that Nuno used a Furman PQ-3 in front of the ADA to boost the signal and add some mids and highs.

he still used washburns from day one of his bands studio days.The 1st album he used the washburn mercury model guitars,i am certain he used a combination of both that older model and his then as new sig Nuno models.

I can defintly here the ADA in that and which cabinet, i think lynch used a combination of cabs with 25 and 30 watt speakers.
