BTW, while we're talking about the C.O.W. signature guitars....why is the control cavity rout almost the full length of the body when there is only a volume knob? Weight reduction?

It was his idea. He also stated that he played one on the U2 cover "I will follow". You can see the guitar in the studio pic posted earlier. It's also seen on the DVD side of the Transgression disc.

As for the control cavity...my guess is to save money. Use the existing templates rather than make new ones and reset the CNC machine.

I agree that the camo could have been done better-especially for the $300 upcharge.

BTW, Drumcityguitarland has a couple of custom neckthru Jackson 7s that were supposedly made for COW, including a King V. Of course, you'll pay just a *tad* more for them than for the Japanese sig model.

There was a blood red import made. It was on the FF site a while back. Bolt-on, MIJ sticker. Christian has it and I believe it's a one-off prototype. He also plays it on the Transgression DVD.

EDIT-That's it in the picture! Christian uses Sperzels and that guitar has the Jackson tuners and lacks the "Custom Shop" script. There ya have it!
