    Re: just saw 311 tonite

I remember when i got my first 311 CD. I got it through one of those CD clubs because i forgot to send in my "don't send me the pick of the month" thingie. Anyway, I listened to it and became a 311 fan ever since. I have never seen them live, but would love to.

That's funny...I remember back when I got into them ('97 or so) he had all his pedals in drawers in a rack, with some rack units all hooked up to a switching system. I still have that magazine that had photos of his and Nick's setups back then.

Effects pedals, switches, whatever was on the floor on his side of the stage was giving him problems. Others have mentioned this as well on the 311 boards.

wouldn't to happen to have a scanner for those pics of his setup would ya? I'd love to see that, was it a guitar world magazine? Anyhoo, if my last post came off to ya as harsh, wasn't my intentions.

A lot can change in the everlasting quest for perfect tone.

I know guys who went from a Mesa Triaxis and an Alesis Q2 to a Triple Rectifier and a handful of floor pedals and back again.
