There's no arguement here, it was done with a loop pedal, that's not just people guessing, that is a fact...That is how it was done according to people who were there and witnissed it in person.

yup, he played a 5 string arpeggio sweep picked and used a loop pedal.

It was on the Japanese TV where Merty Friedman and Paul did some cool shit there, and Paul said to Marty that he would press that button and then Paul did the mouth sweeping.
