Moore's tone is so superior to the other's dude's it is a joke. He sounds huge, and the other guy sounds like he is playing through a Peavey with an 8 inch speaker.

That was the first thought I had, too! The dude could play pretty well & got in some nice licks, but man was that fizzy & weak compared to Moore. Still a killer vid, though. I saved that one!

Check this one out. Cold Sweat, live in a pub:

Sound isn't great, but Sykes rips it the fuck up! Think it was a little loud in there?

I'm sure Moore had to be very loud..you see Scott had rolled off his volume for the rhythm parts and when standing up front for his solo on Moore's side he goes for the volume..but it still ain't enough to cut through the mix. I think he was being drowned out just because of an imbalance in the mix or stage vol.

      That Lizzy/Sykes vid was great!

You guys do realise that the other "Dude" is from the US ?? Scott Gorham was much more a driving force in Lizzy than Gary . The other 3 guys are Irish

He he, just a little tad too loud maybe Hey dg!

Thanks for the link to the videos. It's been a while since i saw them. A nice warm up for their 20 Years/20 Dates Tour which arrives here in Denmark 5. april 2006. It's sold out but i got a ticket!
Looking forward to see Gorham and Sykes again.

Sorry to see that Brian Downey won't join the band again. Last time Lizzy visited Denmark with Downey (around 1981, i was there!), Downey got into a fight the night before the concert and couldn't play! He got beaten up in my town - i'm not proud of that! Guess i'll never see him play.
