That was just a modeler, would be my guess. He was just noodling. His live tone is much, much better. Check his other video. I found him through a compilation video on YouTube. I have also heard him on Live365 before...on Guitar Central.

My best friend used to take lessons with Dave in Surrey BC. and I think he might have worked at the Long & McQuade Music store out there as well with my friend Dave.
Anyhow Dave has some killer cd's and I've known about him for years! he kicks ass and is a super nice dude!
anyhow check out his new disc, some amazing playing there!
